I am pleased. I live fairly close-in Atlanta and am able to pick up 7 channels without the Silver Sensor, 13 with it. I had purchased the Haier HLT71 7-Inch Portable LCD TV for use during power outages. That problem disappeared with the antenna. Because of mixed reviews, the decision to purchase this antenna was a difficult one. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I decided to give it a try. The channels that I could pick up without the antenna had some digital scrambling.
Though this item rated well on many online sites, it really is not much help if you live more than 25 miles from the towers. I did take it to work, about 15 miles closer to many of the TV towers, and hooked it up to our HDTV in the breakroom, and it pulled in many stations very well.
They are always sold out or hard to find. Will not work if a mountain or meatal building is in the way. I have purchased a dozen for friends. Different parts if the room will get different signal, so move it around to get the best reception.
not so much. Maybe it's because stations haven't boosted their signals enough, I don't know. Since the conversion, it works no better than my old rabbit ears. Now. I purchased this antenna and it worked so well, I bought two more. That was before the digital TV conversion. All I do know is, before the conversion, it worked GREAT.
The indoor silver sensor antenna is nice looking and performs very well,I am going to buy 2 more of them.
